Klasse 66 - DRS Blå - 66122

Fantastic model. Great details and sound. A welcome addition to the fleet.

Once again, a superb model by Accurascale. A step above my other 66 fleet

The DRS Class 66 is now my 6th Accurascale Class 66! Like all the others it blows any other OO class 66 out of the water. The level of detail, including loco specific modifications, never fails to amaze me. The full function lighting and inclusion of a stayalive in every model is a gamechanger and means I have never had to worry about stuttering, stalling or flickering lights.

Top marks to Accurascale, you are one of the few manufacturers that kept me in the hobby, and everything I buy from you is worth every dollar! I had all but given up trying to get one of these in DRS livery as I missed out when they were readily available at the time of release, so I was very pleased when a couple became available. Also very impressed that my order was shipped within 3 hours of purchase, compared to the 17 days it took a major retailer to ship my class 31, shall definitely be preordering direct when I can.
I already have 3 of the 2nd run of class 66s on pre-order!

As per reviews on YouTube, an excellent runner and beautifully built.
Also no loose parts found in the packaging (unlike my Accurascale Deltic).
I knocked off a star as the documentation for my DCC Ready version makes no reference to the spec of the pre-fitted speaker. I have fitted an Econami 21 pin sound decoder, and the volume is low plus lighting effects are limited. I would have bought the sound fitted version, bus alas I was late to the party. Hoping for a 2nd chance.

I have purchased several Class 66 Diesels from Accurascale and this latest model is very detailed and has an attractive livery. The model was supplied in a very robust box, with plenty of packaging. Overall, I am very impressed with my latest purchase from Accurascale.

Accurascale have taken a model which was already good and they have made it great, all the problems with the older model are long gone

Yet another superb model from accurascale. I'm a class 66 fan so this was a nobrainer for me.

Though my modellinperiod spans the 1950's/1960's I couldn't resist a 66 and after a lot of consideration made the purchase.
I'm glad I did, the model is superb. Next step is a sound upgrade

Being this the first of anything I have owned in OO gauge and it being an Accurascale class 66, I have to say I am very pleased with this Locomotive. I am impressed with the attention to detail, the quality of the running performance, and of course the mag lift off cover to add DCC that is just briliant. So now I am hooked on Accurascale and what they have coming out in the future and will be adding to my fleet as new and exciting products come out.
Accurascale you did a fantastic job with this one. Very pleased and now a loyal fan of your company.

My first Accurascale locomotive and certainly won’t be my last, simply the most detailed model I own and runs beautifully even on my admittedly not fantastic layout. The moving axels are also such a lovely touch and add so much life to the model.
