I missed out on the first run of this livery and so got my preorder in as soon as the second run was announced. I have blue and green liveried examples from the first run and was blown away by the exceptional detail that Accurascale have put into these models. All three run smoothly and silently pulling long rakes of coaches without any trouble. The Porterbrook livery looks fantastic and I can't fault the paint job. I would highly recommend this model and have been extremely satisfied with this and a number of Accurascale's other models to date.

Well, I saw this, and loved the color, hence why I ordered.
I was not expecting the Deltic to be what I got.
It is a massive engine, very imposing. Running alongside a Class 66 (accurascale) and a Class 071, which are the biggest locos I have, it dwarfs them, as it is such an imposing train.
It really does handle my layout very well, and the 'odd' duff bit of track thanks to the stay alive.
The sound is incredible, but the lighting was jaw dropping. I'd loved to have seen one of these in real life.

I got a pair of these about 3 years ago, and I have to admit, they were fantastic. As someone who used DC, I could tell what line had power, and it was great for knowing where my train was going to end up. However, seeing the glow through an engine shed for the lines, now that I've gone DCC makes the Engine sheds in low light, or night time, look amazing. Brings a whole new 'light' to the hobby.
Would highly recommend these.
These are beautiful models with an extraordinary level of detail. My only issue is that the wheels do not run very freely meaning that the loco had trouble pulling a rake of six. The coal loads I purchased fit perfectly and look great.

these wagons are finely detailed and have enough weight to stay on the track but not cause drag.
GREAT SOUND AND EASY TO FIT WITH AN ACCURATHRASH SPEAKER.WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT .FITTED IN A ACCURASCALE 55 DELTIC.GREAT STUFF.
Tooling is excellent but I do think the grey bodywork is too light
No problems with ordering, tracking and delivery. Coach was stoutly packed and includes a comprehensive booklet and fittings. Coach looks good and is well constructed, weighted and free running.
Two issues :-
1. The interior lighting, operated by a wand (included), is a novel idea, but in practice it works only intermittently. Disappointing. And the booklet should mention that it uses track current and not an internal coin cell.
2. From my memories of the coach (from 1950s+) and colour photographs, the coach numbers were brighter.

Quite a rare colour schema, I have been after this for years. Yet another job well done and another gap in my collection filled by a superb model!

Yes another excellent addition to the Accurascale range! While these things are not cheap, well not that cheap, take advantage of free postage and the 10% off for buying two, and the price does come down.
The packaging is of very high quality and includes an information booklet.
Lastly the model itself is superb, of course!
Item was easy to fit and function's well with locomotive tĥè features are easy to use and find is well worth the money.
