  • B311850
  • Bauxite, Pre-TOPS livery
  • 1/120 pattern
  • OLEO Buffers
  • Roller Bearing Axle-boxes
  • Introduced in 1961
  • 3,950 wagons built to this pattern
  • Additional Flap Doors on sides, which MDO did not carry
  • Remained in service until 1992
  • Ran in block rakes, and mixed with other coal wagons such as 16t minerals (MCO), 21t hoppers (HTV), 24.5t minerals (MEO), etc.

The latest batch have improvements and are very much worth it.

BR 21T MDV's Bauxite Pack F

I'm absolutely blown away by the extensive levels of detail on these wagons. The intricate pipework, linkages etc on the underside of these models is exceptional, the vacuum braking mechanism is absolutely superb. Do we really need it?....No, But do we all want it?.....**** yes.

I've already convinced myself that I need some of the 16T mineral wagons that are on the horizon, can I justify them?..... I'll have to wait and see.

Nice little wagon

Good looking wagon with excellent detail, especially the underframe. Run really well, nice and quiet and free running. Cam mounted couplers as well which is a nice touch rather than the slot-in pockets.

Purchased a further triple pack at the Black Friday reduced price to go with the existing wagons acquired a while ago. These wagons are superb, not much more to say really.
