Outstanding

I previously said the Class 66 from Accurascale had taken the place of top spot in my collection. This upgraded Deltic has taken that now. With the updates they have done to the model, it surely takes the spot for one of, if not the, best diesel model available on the OO Gauge market today.

Very nice piece of modelling perfection

Missed out on the Porterbrook Deltic the first time round and I’m glad I picked one up this time. Beautiful piece of miniature perfection and an improvement over the previous run of deltics. Well done Accurascale

Deltic dcc sound

Beautifully derailed. It runs and sounds great. The down side is getting the body off to fit crew and change the headcodes. The body is a very tight fit, too tight. I found yo wiggle the chassis as you pull very hard works. The tiny blue pipework is very vulnerable and two of mine fell off. I successfully fitted the crew and changed the headcodes. Getting the body back on was even harder. More card strops to never out the body works. Once back on the track one red tail light at each end would not show lit. Off with the body again. All lights working. Put the body back on and still one red light not showing but both the front end. Something is moving and covering the led. Blue pipes glued back on, as is the detail pipes at the front. Would I recommend anyone taking a deltic apart? A resounding NO! It's much too delicate to be handled too much. F23 and F30 Do not appear to do anything. I will be in touch somehow. Other than that a lovely model. Steveo

9016

I was a bit disappointed with this model because on arrival the headcode 1A16 was adrift and curled up inside the loco and I had to remove the loco body to get to it. Although it had a sticky back I could not get it located behind the clear plastic panel so it was stuck on the outside of the panel. While removing the body two of the front bogie leading guide irons fell off one end and my eyesight is not good enough to relocate them.

Electric Deltic

Well, I saw this, and loved the color, hence why I ordered.
I was not expecting the Deltic to be what I got.
It is a massive engine, very imposing. Running alongside a Class 66 (accurascale) and a Class 071, which are the biggest locos I have, it dwarfs them, as it is such an imposing train.
It really does handle my layout very well, and the 'odd' duff bit of track thanks to the stay alive.
The sound is incredible, but the lighting was jaw dropping. I'd loved to have seen one of these in real life.
Well done Accurascale.

Stunning Deltic

Another truly stunning model. Nice to see a company listens to their customers and acts on their feedback with the minor improvements from the first batch. Well done the Accurascale team.
