A single RAWIE ™ Friction Buffer Stop in a Sharfenburg Coupler pocket configuration with a sprue of 20 friction elements and friction element spacers, with a working, light pole.


Light will function on DC and DCC Power but needs a PERMANENT power supply.

We recommend a permanent 12V power feed on DC power unless you are happy with the LED working when the track is in one direction only, or if high frequency track cleaners are used.

A bit flimsy

I like them but a bit fiddly setting them up on the track but look good will buy more.

Great Modern Buffer

I'm just getting back into model railways and had never heard of this company, until it popped up in facebook, and i'm glad it has. I'm a modern image modeller and this is what I was crying out for, looks great and the LED is the perfect touch. It is a little flimsy and requires some gentle handling, but very pleased

Great detail/decoration and reasonably priced. Adds a nice modern touch to sidings, especially on DCC when the light is permanently on. Only slight issue was lack of padding material when this arrived meaning that the buffer package had come loose (the product was okay though).

Buffer off!

These befferstops are fantastic, great quality and very modern look. My only gripe is they can be a bit too lightweight, as they like to pop off the the track.
I don't want to glue them down. Other than that like them very much.

Twin led buffer stop

This is a well made lighted buffer stops. The twin lights on top are bright and the model clips on to the track ( code 100) easily. I will fix the buffer to the track with pins or glue as a over running train can dislodge them.

Friction Stop with LED

I wanted to upgrade my original Hornby buffer stop with a newer version on my TMD and these fitted the bill perfectly no extra wiring needed and take power direct from the track as my system is DCC

Fun and useful too.

These buffer stops really make a visual difference to boring sidings and turn them into another 'feature'. They are low cost and good value for money. I have bought a few and intend to buy a few more, as I'm not sure how long the LED lights will last? One of the most useful aspects of these buffers is that when lit, they confirm power is getting to the sidings. I am just re-building my railway piecemeal, and there have been occasions where sections of track have lost power, and the LEDs on the buffer act as an indicator.
